Release. Regulate. Reclaim.

Trauma doesn't just live in the mind - it lives in the body.

Breath is one of the most direct pathways to meet, move, and metabolize what's been held inside for too long.

Trauma Release Breath Work

is a somatic practice that uses conscious, connected breathing patterns to:

  • Access the subconscious

  • Bypass the analytical mind

  • Activate the body's natural ability to release stored stress, trauma, and emotion

What It Does:

  • Unlocks held energy from the nervous system

  • Releases suppressed emotions and tension stored in the body

  • Increases self-awareness and emotional clarity

  • Grounds you into the present moment

  • Activates deep states of peace, connection, and inner safety

Breathwork is the bridge.

Between the mind and the body.

Between who you were told to be

and who you actually are.

When we breathe with intention,

we meet the parts of us we’ve buried—

the grief, the rage, the inner child still waiting to be held.

We don’t just calm the nervous system.

We rewire it.

We don’t just release emotions.

We reclaim ourselves.

This is not just breath.

It is a prayer.

A portal.

A return.

1. Nervous System Regulation

Cathartic breathwork activates the parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest), helping shift the body out of chronic fight, flight, or freeze. This promotes deep relaxation, lowers cortisol levels, and restores balance to the system.

2. Detoxification & Oxygenation

Deep, intentional breathing increases oxygen intake and supports the release of carbon dioxide and toxins. It stimulates lymphatic drainage and enhances cellular regeneration, giving the body a powerful energetic and physical cleanse.

3. Releasing Somatic Tension & Trauma

Stored emotions and trauma live in the body. Through cathartic breathwork, physical tension, tightness, and chronic holding patterns begin to release. This often leads to muscle relaxation, shaking, crying, or purging—signs the body is letting go of old pain.

The Process

Please take some time to submit the breath work in take form to see if this next step is in alignment with your healing journey.

What you can expect in a trauma release breath work ceremony:

  • Upon arrival we will sit and chat for a bit about what is at the surface for you during this time as well as what your intention for this experience is.

  • The breath work ceremony itself will last around 60 minutes with multiple breaks in between activating breath and rest. We will work with different breath techniques during ceremony to support in regulating your nervous system.

  • Once you come out of the session, you will have some space to journal about your experience before we open the space to discuss what came through.

  • A few weeks after your ceremony we will connect for a supportive integration call.
